INTRODUCING IASIS MICRO CURRENT NEUROFEEDBACK
WHAT IS IT?
Micro Current Neurofeedback, or MCN, is an innovative, non-invasive, safe technology that uses brain wave feedback to help the brain “reboot” itself. The brain can become unbalanced due to stress, injuries, environmental factors or illness. When this happens, brain waves can get “stuck” in patterns that create brain-related conditions. Using low-impact electrical signals called “micro currents,” MCN treatments help the brain generate new patterns and relieve common brain related illnesses.
HOW DOES IT HELP?
Patients report feeling a lifting of the “fog” related to many brain imbalance disorders. Many also report improved concentration, focus and memory, and an overall sense of calmness. MCN addresses disorders including ADD/ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, insomnia, reduced impulsivity, PTSD and many more.
IS IT SAFE?
Delivering treatments that are effective for both children and adults, Micro Current Neurofeedback is an FDA registered EEG amplifier that is extremely safe and pain-free. Generally not noticeable, the amount of electric current used is 1/100 of an AA battery for the duration of 1/100 of a second. Treatments are well-tolerated by adults and children.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
Every patient is different, but 85% of patients report a positive response after one to three treatments. Twelve to twenty total sessions is common.

New Patient Consult
Let's get to know your child.
At the New Patient consultation, we will review your child's medical history from conception to the present. We'll also go over any concerns you may have. A comprehensive physical exam will guide which laboratory testing is needed, and then we'll tell you a bit about our philosophies for addressing optimal wellness.
Initial Blood Work Consult
We'll translate all of your lab results into something that you understand.​
After analyzing and interpreting lab results which may include stool analysis, the results are explained in this hour long visit. You'll understand how your child's body works, and we'll go over possible "weak links." We'll give recommendations and guidance on how to proceed to restore and maintain optimal health for your child.

Follow-up Visit
Let's check in on how your child is doing!
After following our recommendations for some time, let's see how your child is doing. We'll revisit the concerns you had during a previous visit and talk about the progress your child has made. We'll also adjust any recommendations if necessary to help your child on their path to optimal wellness, and order updated blood work to make sure the "weak links" are improving.
